Earlier this week I received an early Valentine’s present from my Mum; a heart shaped cake tester beautifully packaged in pink tissue paper with a label reminding me that “Home is where the Heart is”.
Well, actually today as the snow falls and what is apparently the worst winter storm for 3 years hits Toronto, “Home is where the Cake is”.
This Chocolate Cake was made using a Mary Berry recipe. I found this one of the easiest recipes to follow and probably the best tasting chocolate cake I have ever made.
Valentine’s Day or Snow Day – it certainly tastes delicious.
